Organization: Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project
Seeking: Development/Board Liaison Intern
Their Mission: In 1995, a diverse group of Asian/Pacific Islander (A/PI) women came together to discuss the issue of domestic violence in the A/PI community and the resources available to assist survivors. Today, DVRP is a non-hierarchical organization which is built upon mutual respect, shared responsibility, trust and equality, and is supported by a collaborative style of leadership. DVRP strives to foster collaboration with all people and communities to end various forms of oppression.

Organization: American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
Seeking: Women’s Rights Fellowship 2013
Their Mission: The ACLU is our nation’s guardian of liberty, working daily in courts, legislatures and communities to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties that the Constitution and laws of the United States guarantee everyone in this country. The ACLU also works to extend rights to segments of our population that have traditionally been denied their rights, including people of color; women; lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people; prisoners; and people with disabilities.

Organization: Voices for Progress
Seeking: Policy and Legislative Associate
Their Mission: Voices for Progress, a project of The Advocacy Fund, is a non-profit organization formed in 2009 with the mission to educate philanthropists, business leaders, state & local elected officials, and other community leaders to efficiently and effectively advocate with federal policy-makers on important issues facing Congress. Voices for Progress provides information on federal policy issues to influential individuals, thus minimizing the time they need to get up to speed on a variety of issues. The policy information Voices for Progress develops is balanced and evidence-based, making it easy and efficient to get involved.
