Their Mission: Appleseed is a nonprofit network of 17 public interest justice centers in the United States and Mexico, Appleseed is dedicated to building a society in which opportunities are genuine, access to the law is universal and equal, and government advances the public interest. Working with a huge pro bono network, they identify and examine social injustices, make specific recommendations, and advocate for effective solutions to deep-seated structural problems. Together, Appleseed and Appleseed Centers form a network for positive change, building a society that provides each individual access to justice and a genuine opportunity to lead a full and productive life.

Their Mission: The Service Employees International Union is an organization of 2.1 million members united by the belief in the dignity and worth of workers and the services they provide and dedicated to improving the lives of workers and their families and creating a more just and humane society. SEIU is the fastest-growing union in North America. Organization: Florida Association of Planned Parenthood Affiliates
Seeking: Statewide Legislative Director
Their Mission: For 95 years, building healthy communities has been Planned Parenthood’s mission.  Their health care services include life-saving cancer screenings, breast health care, well-woman exams, contraceptive services, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and much more. Over 90% of the services they offer are preventive and help women, families and communities stay healthy. The Florida Association of Planned Parenthood Affiliates (FAPPA) is the state public policy office representing Florida’s five Planned Parenthood affiliates. FAPPA works to advance public policy in areas of reproductive health care, family planning and medically-accurate sex education in order to make comprehensive reproductive health care available to all.
