Update: “Ghost Polls” in Racine, Wisconsin

As part of The Leadership Conference Education Fund’s Every Voter Counts project, field organizer Cedric Lawson is on the ground in Wisconsin performing election protection work. He sent in this photo of a “ghost poll” that he says:

… was here last election but is here no longer. It is in a low income, high African American populated neighborhood. There is only this sign. No number to call or website to visit, just ward numbers which can be extremely confusing. The ghost poll is located at a bus depot that is easily accessible. Most local buses stop at this depot.

If you are having trouble finding your polling place, text POLLING PLACE to 69866 to look up information. Or visit google.com/elections/ed/us/vote
